Permeabilization Wash Buffer is used in intracellular cytokine staining to permeabilize cells prior to immunostaining intracellular cytokines.
Fixatives and permeabilization agents are used to treat cell membranes prior to intracellular cytokine staining. Fixatives stabilize the cell membrane, preserving surface antibody-antigen binding. Permeabilization agents create pores in the fluid, intact cell membrane, facilitating antibody entry. When using flow cytometry to detect intracellular antigens and DNA, cells are fixed and permeabilized before adding the appropriate antibodies or detection reagents and incubating for a specified period before analysis.
Permeabilization Wash Buffer can be used in intracellular cytokine staining to permeabilize cells and to serve as an antibody diluent and cell wash buffer.
