Caspase 3 is an effector caspase that plays a major role in the apoptotic pathway and activated by initiator caspases during the execution phase of apoptosis. SuperView staining is compatible with formaldehyde fixation and downstream immunostaining. The fluorescence characteristics of SuperView are Ex/Em = 500/530 nm when bound to DNA.
