CFDA, SE (carboxyfluorescein diacetate, succinimidyl ester) is a cell tracking dye that can label living cells. It is used for cell proliferation assays.

CFDA, SE is a cell-permeable dye used for cell proliferation assays, motility assays, and in vivo cell tracking experiments. CFDA, SE are most commonly used to assay the proliferation of lymphocytes, but can also be used to assay the proliferation of other cells, such as fibroblasts, natural killer cells, and hematopoietic progenitor cells.
